I already asked him what the 4 or 3 readings are from his emissions test in my first post.
He could have failed the gas cap part of the test. No feedback from the user.
Dirtwarrior is correct with the water vapor issue. Water is a byproduct of combustion. Of course the engine is going to be leaving vapor on start up from combustion and condensation. You can do either of 4 things to find out if he has a blown headgasket. And without any numbers, we can only assume if the vehicle is staying in open loop which would be a code, or the catalytic converter isn't working and the emission readings are a bit higher then normal.
