What do you guys put on your tires as protection against uv rays cracks etc. I dont like armor all so what would you guys recommend my tires are getting cracked and need something to put on them.THnks

The majority of tire shine products are designed to make you think they preserve the tire, but in reality they can have a accelerating effect on the breakdown of your sidewalls. The chemicals they use in these products had been proven to do so. The absolute best way to protect your tires from UV rays is to cover them up! :thumb:

These may look silly, but hell, they work! I've got some on my 40's and they make them in sizes up to 44's i believe. :pimp:

When and If I ever wash the burb, I don't scrub or clean the tires. I just spray them off and thats it. ArmorAll is for show cars or a DD after a detail. When you apply it, it gets on the wheels and makes a mess.

1) Drive to Silver Lake
2) Play in the dunes to clean tires (seriously, they look brand new)
3) Drive home
4) Park in garage

i too have been wondering.. my hawgs get flatspots when sitting for 30 minutes... now the truck hasnt moved for 2yrs... so i was thinking bout how long till dryrot sinks in....

i know they make tire covers for rv's so im thinking.. get a pair of them for when the truck isnt being driven... or some kind of cover.. to keep the rays off of it....
