I searched, but all I found was older threads. Who makes the best tire carrier spindles now? A lot of the companies in the older threads are out of business. Thanks.

D44 spindle 
I advise only using trailer spindles for smaller, lighter tires, like 33's on alloys. They like to crack and break off after a while. If would probably help if you don't weld it, but that would be a harder build obviously.
