Anyone know what the max vehicle tire height up here in Alberta Canada is or even BC? Someone is telling me its 39" which I hop is incorrect because I want to go bigger in the future.

As long as the tires have a DOT stamp on em you're good. Do check for max headlight and bumper heights though...

I see plenty of guys on 44's here in BC.

You'll need to check in your area. Alberta Ministry of transportation would be a good first place to start.

In BC the max headlight height is 54". Max bumper height is 29" front, and 28" rear IIRC. Tires cannot stick out past the fenders without being covered (flares or equivalent). Mudflaps are pretty much a required item too. Around here if you 'alter' a vehicle's suspension by more than 4" either direction the vehicle needs to be inspected.
