Tire Pressure Question

[1991K5]

I have a '91 K5, with 31"x10.5"x15 General Grabber ST's on it, and have no clue as to what the tire pressure should be on them, since the factory sticker is missing, and I cant seem to get any information from General about this matter. Thanks in advance for any help!

The tire pressure should be molded into the sidewall of the tire itself.I've never seen one that wasn't.

I think that would be the maximum load at the maximum pressure, not your everyday driving pressure. The ride would be too stiff if you used that, and you'd probably wear the tires from the center sooner.

The ideal pressure is the one that makes the tire have an even contact with the surface. That can be obtained by getting your tires wet and then rolling them on dry pavement. If they are overinflated, the edges of the tire won't be printed as good as the center. Reduce pressure until the print is even.

That's an excellent way to check for the right pressure/per vehicle.As for myself,the swamper SXs ride a little smoother with more air.
