If a tire has a broke belt will it still be ok to trail ride with it? Hows about running it on beadlocks?

I'd bring a spare. I've got the same problem on one of my tires, it was my fault for mounting it on the rim with a pry bar. oops /forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif Anyways, I sealed it up with silicone and called it a day. My tires only cost me $100 and I got 5 of them with rims so I don't care that much. They only get used for my driveway right now anyways, the boggers are for trails See, my tire holds air just fine. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

My reason for asking I found a barely used set of 36" SuperSwampers for "really" cheap. The guy changed all four because one had a broke belt he says.

What exactly is "really" cheap?
Less than $50 possibly nothing for all 4. I know the 3 would be worth it but if I can't run the 4th then I'd just have 3 spares. I know I'll get them but I was wondering "how I would use them"
