35x12.5x15 on a stock K5 rim? I am trying to save a little by not having to run new wheels. Mine can be painted and will work for me.

Yup, I ran 35 x 12.5's on stock 16.5 x 6.75" rims for many years.

I ran my 35s on stock rims also. Worked fine for me!

That beign said without being flamed for not searching, what would the stock steelie size be on a 83 Blaze

(Never bothered to find out since I never thought about reusing them. )

My 85 with the rally style rims were 15x8's IIRC :D

oh, I ran 35's on them with no problems as well, a 12.5" wide tire will work fine on a 8" wide rim.

Sweet action. Thats what I wanted to hear. :D

(For those wondering I am getting together my Cheap projects to try to wheel in the spring so I can quit getting burnt out. )

15x7 or 15x8. 15x7 was more common in the 80's.

It's stamped on the inside of the wheel somewhere. Might be a bit rusty but it's there if it's a genuine GM wheel. 15x7JJ or 15x8JJ.

Either will work. 15x7 isn't optimum but bunches of us on here have run narrower rims with 12.5" wide tires.

i had them on a set of 88-98 style rims which i think are alittle under 7".

Thats good to know. I can spend the 300-400 dollars better somewhere else. :)
