Tire sidewall flex.....

Thought this photo was amusing.. This is a 35x12.50x15 BFG AT/KO on a stock 15x8 ralley wheel. I was flexing the truck a little on Saturday and drove up a tree in my side yard. Not sue what my air pressure was. On Halloween I had about 11psi in it and I think it had gone down since then. It hel the bead fine.. Long enough for me to climb out of the truck walk over(about 30 yards one way) and grab my digi camera out of my Tahoe. When I snapped the pic I started hearing some hissing and the bead had started pulling away some.. So I hurried up and pull it down.. Figured the bead would've popped but it held strong!

**EDIT** The passenger side had less air in it and held just fine also!

wow! and it didn't pop a bead! Makes me happy to have the same exact tire.

Yep, the bead held nicely. It did start pulling away slightly after it sat up there like that, but I pulled down before all of the air went out. Well, the tire sits pretty fla now so most of the air escaped.

I may hve lost the bead if I had come at it at a diffrent angle and the tire folded in the opposite direction.

Ya, put a new battery in it. Fixed a brakeline and also put in some speed bleeders. They seemed to work pretty well.

Went to truck night last thursday. May make it this thurs too. Dont know if you heard, they moved. Fireball split from Yankee Lake and is now on Route 82... The rocks aren't as nice.. Well there are some on the ground and some up a 2 sided dirt hill.. They have (3) mud pits this year and a few other little obsticles... Still a good time! give me a call if you're going ot come over and I'll give ya directions..
