Tire size? Want to move up, but maybe not.

Thank's, vt. You think of everything. What combo of wheel/tire are you running? How do they handle on the road? Makovai, thank's, that helps me in my shopping quest! How does your setup handle on the road? Oh, except for the bias flat spots! Not that I'm that concerned with road manners, but I want the best of both on and off road!

once they warm up the drive pretty good for a 42" tire, on a 35 year old truck. They are fairly quiet for that much mass, but they are a pretty soft compound so they are pretty smooth. doesn't appear as if they will get alot of miles before they are worn but that is to be expected with a soft compound.

Thank's. Makes me want to look at the goodyear again. I also need to rethink just how much onroad action this rig will actually see when it is finished. Did I say finished? Never finished. I just want to be able to drive it onroad well, when the need arises. Oh no, makes me think about the legality issues!

Actually when i started looking for tires iwanted the 40" MTR's. I run the 35's on my DD and love them.

Cool, I'm really leaning toward the goodyears. I think the 40's will be big enough for the setup I'm looking for. Already did some fender trimming when I was running a 4" lift with 35" Bfg's.
