tire tubes

anyone here run tubes in bias ply tsls? i've been told a regular 15'' tube will strech enuff to work in a 44'' tire? sounds like it would be streched thin...would firestone have a tube, suited for a 44'' tire? i have 2 tires that have slow leaks, will go flat in a week 1/2, if i don't air it up about once a week.

should i try the green slime stuff(i was thinkin maybe the slime would work kinda like airsofts..liquid weight in tire) or just put a tube in them?

Put the tire underwater and find out where the lead is coming from.

std 15" tube will not strech and be working at that diamitor.

there is tubes for tires this big. i have seen part #s and links posted beforte just cant recall at this time.

the tires look to be 20-30 yrs old, but are only about 1 1/2 yrs old and 1/2 tread, but they are dry rotted around the lugs and lines around the sidewalls, i guess thats what i get for never washing the tires, the gumbo mud caused them to dry and crack, it will do the same to your hands(dryed and chapped) after getting it on you, it pulls moisture out of everything, kinda like concrete dries your hands out!

i wonder if when we're in a drought, if i went got a couple buckets of it, powder it up on driveway, let it sit, then hose it off if it will dry up oil/grease spots...this stuff is that bad...i may try this!

the woman folk who go muddin w/us, have learned not to get the mud, from inside the levee, on them...it drys and cracks your skin, even if rinsed off...it leaves a residue that will have your hands hurting within hrs...a tube of lotion is mandatory wheeling gear w/them! i have to admit, i've asked for lotion while wheeling....its indescribable unless you've been in mississippi river gumbo yourself, you want believe how it dries crap out after it dries!

you need a big tube to fit a 44. I carry a tube for an AG application with. I have a fullsize spare but I run 16.5's so two flats in a row and I am stuck.

the tube I keep on hand is for a 18.4/21L-16.1 its for a big turf tire that they use on golf courses. it would work in a 15" application.
