Every off-road web page that I travel to has at least one pic of a 4x4 with one tire on a rock in the middle of no where, I'm sorry but I'm kind of tired of looking at those cheesy shots.

a guy in our local club a couple years back installed lockers, SPOA, shackle reversal, and removed the swaybar from his 73 jeep CJ. then took it out on a run, found a rock that he wanted to get a picture on. Problem was the rock was larger than he originally thought and he dumped the Jeep on its side. I couldn't stop laughing for weeks.

Awww Steve, it may be cheesy, but not all of us have a RTI ramp in the backyard! If I do anything suspension wise, the local gravel pit with the rock in the center of it becomes the test ground. And, if the truck happens to flex better than it did a week ago, a picture happens. Then it gets dumped onto the web page.
The nearest rock trail to me is 6 hrs away, I have never been crawling at all, so when this guys mud truck happens onto a small (by your standards) boulder on the trail, and I can get the truck up onto it, I kinda get all proud and tingly and want a picture!
No hard feelings, but dont knock those of us who havent achieved the Moab or Rubicon or Tellico status yet.

Well it is a cliche type of picture, but still better than a driveway shot.

Unfortunately not all of us live near Moab or some other wheelin' mecca, so the gnarly twisted and sick photo ops are few and far between.

Don't get me wrong, I understand if there isn't much around, but maybe a ditch that you can get crossed up in or even put the rock under the rear tire instead.

I think I get the point, a little more imagination and variety, right? How about all crossed up on the fountain at the mall with the curb feelers all maxed out?

How about an informative article showing the benefits of wiper 'wings'? Also the technical bits on the actual installation!

How about a "Baby on Board" sticker on the trucks of the new fathers out there. Grim, do you have this on your to do list?

Somewhere at the house I have a picture of my '77 crossed up in a ravine so well that 2 tires are stuffed into the fenders while the other 2 are clawing at air. I'll have to scan it in and send it to ya.

LMAO! You think maybe that little one needs some VIAGRA and then it might be able to climb that stump?????

thats the only thing a ford can do!! u could put the same amout of money into a Chevy or GMC and get a truck that could go over the moutains in the background instead of sitting at the base of it. if i ever owned a ford i would battle it from the start just going around hitting anything in site, after it hit the first thing i bet it would not make it to the next but if i did it with my K-5 (i would never do it, just saying that if i ever did) it would keep on going and everything else would feel the pain. K-5s live on forever like the #3 car

That pic is the apitamy (sp?) of cheesy!!
