Im needin some new tires on the DD pickup, anybody got some suggestions? No towing or off road just street. Size is 255-70-16.

I put a set of Duratrac's on my 2500 about 6k miles ago, Like em real well so far, a little noisy on the road, but it don't bother me. They work pretty good so far in about 4" mud, sand, and are pretty well traction wise on wet roads. The test will be through the winter.

skip the od size 255/70/16 and go 245/75/16 or 265/75/16 tons more selection for tiny bit of tire dia diffrence.

You're in texas, so i'm thinking no snow time.

Really, you need a highway tire. I always go towards the highway style AT's for a LITTLE more agressive pattern. Bridgestone Duelers have been good to me.

Michelin LTX is a good tire, BFG Long Trail's, Really, on highway tires, they are all quiet and get teh job done. Just get the right load rating for what you plan to do, and get something on sale.

One of the Firestone dealers in/near Dallas has the Lemans Pathfinder AT
for $99 each

The Pathfinder HT is $114

The price I got was in my zipcode, but for your tire size.

I used to be muds only on everything I owned but now I have BFG AT's on my DD. I don't wheel it hard and I frankly am enjoying the quieter driving.
Don't go too street with the tires. I've seen folks do that and then find themselves sliding around in the backyard on wet grass trying to move a trailer around.

I have been through quite a few sets of tires on my DD in the last 290k miles. I use the truck for work , tow often , haul a decent amount in the bed, and travel on everything from interstates to rutted out muddy construction sites with a 10k load in tow.
I have not found a better all around tire the the Bridgestone Revo 2's, this is my second set of Revos', the first set lasting 72k miles, and still pulled me through the blizzards we had last winter with 62k on them.
I have had BFG's, Goodyears, Michelin's, Uniroyals, and even a set of Yoko's on this truck and the Revos' ride as well as any other, have lasted longer , and have as good if not better wet road, and snow/ mud performance. Here's a link to look at them http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Bridgestone&tireModel=Dueler+A/T+Revo+2

x2 on the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo

Everything from DD, towing, snow, even towing on a forest road. I have been very impressed with these tires. Quiet on the street, and with 30k on them now they still look great.
