well I figure its gonna be teh same price. all the wheelin i am gonna be doing is pretty mild to moderate. The tires are kelly safari awb's. The tires I want are the Interco TrXus Mt's. So what ya guys think.

I vote tires, especially if you'll typically be wheeling with others.
 
I vote winch. that way tou can pull your buddies out and and have a little bragging right besides it better to pull someone out then get pulled out.
 
Also when deer season opens this year (fall) this truck is comin up north, so the winch kinda helps there.:dunno:


Also the tires i got seem to do really good in the snow conciderin how wide they are, I dont know about mud though never tried it.

something my friend just brought up. He says he'd rather get stuck then start breakin parts, or try and gun it and put him self in a situation where he could possibly roll.
 
Tires will get you much farther down the trail, but some times that much farther is also 3 feet down:haha:. I vote tires if you wheel with friends, but if not then I would go with a winch. You can always winch yourself through a hard spot.
 
I suppose I could spend the money on a winch and start buildin some bumpers. and then if i could find some used mud tires. that might be the way to do it.
 
I voted winch, cause your tires still look like they have a decent amount of tread left. Once they get worn down then buy some trxus m/ts, you will love them on the snow covered roads
 
More aggressive tires have the potential to get you stuck worse, wear faster and cost more. How are your current tires?

I voted winch, when you need one you REALLY don't want to be stuck without one :deal:
 
From the picture, your tires look like they're in pretty good shape. Unless you try something really radical, they should be good. At this point in time, the winch is a better move IMO, if you have to choose.
 
the tires i got do awsome in snow, I can drive in 4 inches of snow in 2 wheel drive, if i drive smart. the only thing is i dont know how they are in the mud. the tires are pretty new yet, they came with the truck and only got like 10,000 miles on them
 
I voted neither.

I think you should buy membership to CK5.com :D

But coming in 2nd place is tires. You need tires 100% of the time, you only need winch when all else fails.
