I'm really frustrated with deciding what tires to get. We used to have 3-4 choices now we have what seems like hundreds:eek1: These are going on my 76 K5 when i swap in my 1 tons. I've had BFG AT's(good on the street), Wrangler MTR's( sidewalls are way too soft but were the pre kevlar type), Truxus MT's ( couldn't keep them balanced but they were 1st production run) Maxxis Creepy Crawlers (REALLLY SOFT!! And super expensive, not sure they would work on this rig)

Considering the BFG KM2's, new general grabbers or the Pitbull Growlers as well (although I'm not sure I want a 14" wide tire.)

This rig is just a toy for me, I drive it occasionally to work then wheel it in the desert and Moab.

Please discuss

BFG KM2's are hard to beat. good all around tire. i see a lot of people running the iroks & seem to be satisfied.

I just put a set of 33" KM2's on my wifes Jeep and they're pretty nice. They're pretty quiet considering and do pretty good in the dirt.

I'd love to hear suggestions because I'm about to buy new tires too.

Leaning towards the BFG AT's but am open to any other good ideas!

BFG ATs and MTs are always my first choice for mixed use rig. coopers are second. good tires and much cheaper.
