What is the biggest/widest tire i can fit with 7 inches of lift on my 1990 K5?
im not looking for a lot of flex. its mostly a DD but with the occasional mud hole

Depends on how friendly you are with you sawzall.

Should be able to clear 35's with no trimming, depending on back spacing.

4" and 35's normally requires some trimming. Really, its how custom you want to get.

THe standard answer is 35's and 6"

I've got 7" of lift on my K5 and have 35's with plenty of room. If your not looking for a lot of flex if any I would say a 38. Are you wanting to keep the fenders original or have you considered ?

i wouldnt mind doing a little trimming but i dont want to go too extreme...

I ran 39.5" Iroks on my last K5 with 4" front and a 4" shackle flip in the rear. Did some trimming but nothing major

ive got 4 inch springs in the front and a 4 inch shackle flip in the rear... and a 3 inch body lift.

I run 8" and 43's, as stated its all about how much you're willing to cut.
