1999 c2500 suburban (gmt400). Stock wheels.
Anyone have any experience with taller than stock tires without being lifted??? What sizes work???

thanks,
John

That first size should be 255/75-17. Sorry not a stock wheel but they fit on aluminum hummer wheels with no lift on 92 suburban

I have 285/75/17 on mine with dodge wheels that tuck in more than chevy stock wheels.
I had to cut a little off the plastic fangs on the front of fenders.

We had a 1999 2500 4x4 stock I had 285/75r16 bfg at on it, on stock 2500hd aluminum rims. No rubbing.

Yeah the 285/75/16 is slightly smaller than the 17" tire, I had those first.
Since then I upgraded to bigger 255/80/17.
I love them and they look perfect.
