Going to get it running or call it dead this year. I miss the big stinky rig...and the 17 mpg! Lol

Went ahead and bought it. Just on the off chance I can save the motor...lol

I have a new tank, electric pump & harness, fuel lines, i.p and injectors and modern screw on filters.

As well as new timing set, harmonic balancer and used turbo set up.

As long as the block & crank are good it should be fine...

Wish me luck!

Oh, I guess you did buy it! :rotfl:

After buying all those parts, I'd say you have more than an "off chance" of saving that motor. But always, always, always check the block for the typical cracks. :sign29:

started collecting parts in '14...hard to believe. Shit kept happening...

The entrance to my garage is sloped, and too close to the fence to get a vehicle in front to push it.

So, Monday I'm hitting pawn shops for a hammer drill, then going to harbor freight to get a 2500 lb winch, snatch block, and straps.

I'll pull that pig in.

Got it today. Brand new, still wrapped in plastic with a NSN tag on it lol.
(Navy Stock Number...)

That is what I did in my garage, it pulled vehicles up my steep driveway into my garage.
Just the 2500lbs atv winch
