Went ahead and bought it. Just on the off chance I can save the motor...lol

I have a new tank, electric pump & harness, fuel lines, i.p and injectors and modern screw on filters.

As well as new timing set, harmonic balancer and used turbo set up.

As long as the block & crank are good it should be fine...

Oh, I guess you did buy it!

After buying all those parts, I'd say you have more than an "off chance" of saving that motor. But always, always, always check the block for the typical cracks.

started collecting parts in '14...hard to believe. Shit kept happening...

The entrance to my garage is sloped, and too close to the fence to get a vehicle in front to push it.

So, Monday I'm hitting pawn shops for a hammer drill, then going to harbor freight to get a 2500 lb winch, snatch block, and straps.

I'll pull that pig in.
