So I finally finished up the interior. Started with TMI low back bucket seats. Then ordered the upholstery kit for the back seat, this was the hardest part since I had to cover the old seat. TMI just started producing the side door panels and dash which I just installed.

These parts all fit ten times better that the old after market dash and fit better that the stock door panels. Very happy with the look, fit and over all value of these parts. The interior was finished off with the Dakota gauges.

i really like their stuff... the dash stitching is such a nice touch... looks great!

I agree, after spending money on other crap, it was refreshing to spend hard earned money on stuff that actually fit.

I probably should have ordered my door panels thru them... I'm over 6 months waiting on my USA1 ones...... :angry1:

It really looks good compared to other stuff out there. Nice job on the install.

Wow very nice. Any problem with the door panels installation (cutting out the spot for the power switches)? Been looking at them in lmc catalog for my c10

Looks awesome!

No it was actually easy, just trace the cutouts from the stock door panels and transition to new panels. You do need to mess with the metal clips on the switches to get a snug fit though.

Looks great! I ordered mine Black Friday when they did the 20% discount...still waiting on them (they were 10 weeks out for custom colors), only a couple more weeks! I just finished building my rear panels today. TMI sold me the bulk matching vinyl and I did my headliner and rear panels with it.

Reddrig, What kick panels are you running there for the front speakers? I ordered some from USA1 a long time ago and they still can’t give me a time frame of when they’ll be done. I’m about to pull my order out from them if I can find a good alternative.

not to drag off topic but... yeah, they definitely have a rep for it.. i have heard horror stories, but everyone says they have the best quality for "factory-ish" panels, not to take away from TMI, i consider them a custom.... i knew that going in tho and wasn't in a huge rush... but it's gonna be 8 months by the time i get em,... hopefully...

ordered the beginning of june... i e-mailed em back in the beginning of nov and asked if i would get them by year end.. and they told me ALL door panel orders would be fulfilled in jan or feb... don't know if they where waiting for a part/material, etc..

i did hear they where reoutfitting the door panels with a new improved mold or something.. but i don't know if that means mine will be the old, or new... that may affect what new orders timeframes may be too.. maybe they will be more timely now...

i also understand it was a covid yr, but.....

I have the door panels. They were very easy to install and fit great. Now just need to update the rest of the interior.

I agree, they do excellent work and back it up with great customer service One thing I learned and would like to share (Reddrig looks like you have an 89-91), they’re replacement visors for 89-91 are not a direct fit for those years. I have been talking with their r/d and returns departments to try and find a good solution.
The factory rods are not compatible with the tubing they use for their visors, also the clip on the outboard end to keep it from rattling around is not there. I attached a couple pics, again this is only for the 89-91 years. I will update if they help come up with a solution but in the meantime just know 89-91 TMI visors do not work.

Do you have dash speakers? How did the dash pad fit over them? Did you have to make any new holes in it?

I had to remove the dash speakers for perfect fit. That was fine because I had disconnected the speakers when I redid the stereo. But it is a consideration when going with this dash..
