Hey All! Here is a pic of what you get with our engine crossmember kit. It includes a *removable* center section for access to your oil pan if need be, without removing the whole thing. Also included are two tabs for mounting a Currie 2" Johnny Joint (not included) for a track bar for those of you with crossover steering and wander or death wobble issues. We have tested this thoroughly and it does NOT noticeably interfere with flex of your rig!! We will offer axle-side weld on brackets for a track bar in the near future to go with if need be. All hardware (grade 8) is included too!!

Pricing for kit pictured is $250 plus shipping. Shipping weight is 25lbs, from 80631.

...oh, and I have a few of these all fabb'd up and ready to ship!

Is it higher clearance than the stock one? With crossover and 5" of lift, could I get away with a straight draglink?

Sure Can!! Always a straight draglink, and if you run a track bar you can run it straight with 6" of lift or more. If under 6" of lift, we recommend a very slight bend in the trackbar tube for oil pan clearance under full compression (and we typically use 1.5" od, 1/4" wall DOM tube, so a slight bend is still plenty strong!!)

Hey All!! I have everyone's crossmembers made and either shipped or ready to ship finally! I will be cutting more pieces and getting them fabricated tomorrow, so they will be back in stock and ready to ship!

Sweet!!!

Hey guys! As of the end of day today, I have a couple of these back in stock and ready to go!

I'm assuming this is made to work with the axle in the stock location? Any solutions for rigs with the axle moved forward?

Also, would this one be available in a weld together kit?

This is made so that it works with the axle in the stock location, yes. But we have installed them with axles moved forward quite a bit too with no issues at all. How far forward is your axle?
A weld-it-yourself kit is not currently available for this since it is kind of tricky to get together correctly.

Right now, my axle is around 2" forward. I'd like to push it another inch or so. Could it be corrected with an offset axle mount?

You should be completely fine as-is... Using the Johnny Joints that the crossmember is designed for, there is more than enough misalignment for that much offset or more :)

How far does the inside and outside of the cross member hang below the frame? Looking at oil pan and front diff clearance.

There is approximately 4" from the bottom of the frame to the top of the middle of the crossmember, and it hangs about 5" down from the bottom of the frame overall. It usually works well with about 4" of lift or more, and clears most oil pans.
