To all interested in getting a Kayline top

At the moment we do not know the exact release date for the 73-75 tops that most of us want. Kayline would only say it should be released in March. The first thing I would have to do is to provided how many orders we have to Stephen from ORD. Then we can see what kind of group discount we get and then work out the price for each individual.

No not yet, I have an 84k5 am not to sure on the color I want yet. I could wait untill the rest of you guy's order yours (little short on money right now) in March.....to get the discount.

hey zep, i am ready, i have an 89 jimmy and want a black top, and possibly the tint if it isnt real high., i knda like the security it offers...try to let me know by the first of mar because i have an army school, and wont have access to a computer till around the middle of april..if you need additional info e-mail me...keep me posted!!! thanks for all your efforts

I want a full top for my 72 K5 I am not sure but I think I would rather have the olde style which I think you can still get would have to check. But then again if the new style is cheap enough I might be interested. Would like the darker tint also.

Sent you an email. Though if you didnt get it. 88 K5 Jimmy. Need 31% tint. Carmel or dark tan. Can you give me a price on the original top and the newest one( one for me one for a buddy that wants old skool).

I would like a fast track for a 74 K-5. Probably in tan.

I went to kayline's website, but it wasn't very helpful. I believe I want an old style black top, with as dark a tint as they sell.
however, march is a bit soon for me. we're going on vacation in april, so money will be set aside for that.
is this a one-shot deal?

I am sure that there are more members on this site that would like to order a top in the summer. When we find out more information regarding the price of the new tops as well as the group discount, we can pass it along to a second group. To sum it up, there will be plenty of interest for a soft top on this site that a group of you can go to together on a similar group order closer to summer.

I went on Camelot's website and they were selling the old style top for 73-75 Blazer for some where around $400. But, that was a few months ago.

Its not really a one-shot deal. We are simply basing this order around the new fast trac design for the 73-75 model year which Kayline said is going to be released sometime in March. I am sure there is a group of members on this site that would want to purchase a top closer to summer. When we find out more details with this group order we can simply pass it along to the second group if there is a demand for it.

In regards to Kayline, they do not have any prices listed on their website. They also don't give out prices to customers they only deal with distributors and you can get your prices through them.

I would like a fast-trac for a 75 Jimmy in Black with three tinted windows. Im not sure on standard or dark tint. How dark is dark??
 
dangit, I'd love to order in on one...but since my blazer is now bobbed 12" I guess I'm gonna have to go custom. Very noble effort on organizing though, Zepplin. My props to ya.

DPearson; at their website they say the standard tint is 2% and the dark tint is 31%. I don't know if this gives you a clear idea of how dark it is but, most of the people that put their order in for a top requested the dark(31%) tint.

Oh, by the way, I was wondering if you have a personal e-mail address so I can keep you updated with the group order.
