I'm on the fence now for the 2wd truck. Its my DD but that hasn't stopped me from craving crazy power, stupid addiction...

I was all ready to pull the trigger on a top end setup and self learning efi to the tune up $5000 total by the time I get a pair of AFR heads, roller retrofit cam, and the holley fuel injection. Then it kinda struck me that for like $3000 I can get a 5.3 with a cut down harness and computer with under like 60, 000 miles and have fuel injection and a motor...

What to do...?

less money and just about as good efi system as aftermarket I go ls .

and read this if you have not yet. http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/hrdp_1109_stock_gm_ls_engine_big_bang_theory/

I still wouldnt mind backing it with the easy tune Holley system. A procharger on a 5.3 would be nice. That article is pretty crazy. I have this ridiculous aspiration to have a 10 second car on street tires. I dont ****ing know why so dont ask, ive always just wanted that...

I just find it funny that with a cheap ported head mail order exchange and a cam you could be well over than 400hp mark with 9:1 begging for boost still...
