Well kind of cause it will help keep it road legal and cause we thought it would be cool to do, we figured we could do both. The bedsides are just skins and even though we are not totally done I think you will get the idea. when we are done there will be a pin to put them firmley in place and the sides will be a little bit straighter up and down

That looks great, I came up with this idea awhile ago, you guys just beat me to it ;)

Great Idea! Are the bedsides hinged somewhere, or do you just flex them to move them in and out.

Wanna see me go overboard? Got Hydro Assist or OBA? Get some small hydraulic or pneumatic cyclinders and make a power adjustable narrowing bed. At the trailhead you could go from street legal to trail friendly with the flick of a switch!

They are on hinges. We built a subframe for the skins, which attached to a subframe off of the main frame.

This truck is a long ways from being done, its not mine, my buddy who owns it has been wheeling it for a while with no bedsides. I would imagine we will keep the pivot point and change the latch at least a couple of times
