I had the Honor of escorting fallen Clinton Mo. Officer Morton and his family back home to Clinton from Kansas City yesterday and on the ride back home, I noticed an orange full vert sitting in a field on the side of the highway that had overgrowth all over it. Because I was riding in a column with other bikes, I couldn’t break off and take a look at it.

I went back today to check it out and the house it was in front of, was an old abandoned farm house. I went and checked with the neighboring property and the guy told me the owner lives up in the city and won’t sell anything. I still want to find the owner and verify though.. I love this truck! The plate in it shows a 1992 registration sticker. I’m guessing it was parked there around thy time and never moved again.

A cool find...but likely best used for parts from what I can see.
 
County recorders office would be able to give you the properties owners contact info. It should be public records.

The top looked good too, just needs to be power washed. It looked like the whole drivetrain was in it too.

It is here. I had a hunting app that overlaid property owners on a map but the trial period had ran out when I tried it. I may have to get a hold of that counties assessors office.
 
Ha! Found the info! It looks like it’s a guy in his late 70’s. I’m going to try and call him tomorrow and make it not sound weird that I found his info on the internet and that I want to buy his truck.

It probably would be a cheaper way to get these doors.
I still can't believe how much shipping is.
I refuse to pay more for shipping than what I am getting:)
 
I'd pull the top off and rock it the way it is. Don't cut it up. :(
I've done that and feel horrible about it, but I just didn't have room or time to mess with another truck. The one I got rid of was in similar shape.
 
I would love another full vert but I would likely do a almost perfect resto.

Beefier shackles and likely a 2" lift spring would be my only deviation. But would keep the stock springs if I wanted to return it too stock

That’s what I’d want to do with this thing. It appears to be completely original. It looks like some sort of body repair at one point but other than that, it’s not been hacked up.
