Is there a simple homestyle way to fix the toe out on my rig? i just noticed it due to the crazy wear on my front pass side tire and you can actually see it when the steering wheel is centered. its killing my gas mileage!!!

And heres a word of advice when you do it.

Turn the tierod by hand with both sleeves loose. Your tires WILL move no problem by hand and a 1/2 a turn gets you VERY FAR for how exact toe needs to be. Set it 1/4-1/8 in.

I only align my rig at home. First set toe, then adjust the drag link to center the steering wheel. You want just a hair of toe in.

But...if it has started eating tires, check for bad ball joints and tie rod ends before you waste time trying to fix the problem with an alignment.

his problem kinda does sound like a ball joint as he stated that it is only eating 1 tire so i would look at that side for sure.... could also be the wheel bearings on that side

All that does for you is center the wheel, but not the steering.Centering your steering that way will most likely give you more degrees of steering angle in one direction that the other.

Oh yea :D

And the tape measure method brother Greg posted there is the way :D

I have used that method even when I DD'd my junk.
