Just found out about this and thought I'd share.

I've always had trouble finding an '89-'91 passenger drop 241, when they pop up people usually know what they have and you're in the 6 bolt round 205 price range at that point.

I've heard of SYE'ing a Chevy case using Didge or Jeep parts but those are kinda unobtanium.

From what I understand the 241 has a little better hearing and uses a pump, otherwise the 208 and 241 are basically the same.

What are your thoughts on this SYE kit for the 208C?

This may open up options for a lighter, better geared t-case for me while being able to retain a fixed yoke.

Might do an NV4500/208 (SYE'd) in place of the SM465/205 that I currently have. Kinda wish I didn't sell the NV4500 that I had a few months ago now lol.

208's are really cheap everytime I see them so it would be easy to has a spare or two on hand just in case.

Nothing new.
Always been there.
Too expensive for what it is.
I have a design that is cheap but need a machinist to work with me but they don't see the numbers so no go.

It's new to me.

And I agree it's pricey but when you're the only one making it I guess you can do what you want.
