Yes, I bought it. I didn't pay 4k for it, I talked him down a bit. I am happy with my new truck. I know I probably paid too much for it, but I'm really not too concerned with that. It is just what I wanted and it's in great shape. I actually didn't want a 4x4, I wanted a 2wd.
I'm sure things will pop up that I will have to mess with, but I knew what I was getting into. I used to own a '90 4x4 burb, and my brother still drives the '91 that I watched my dad buy new off the lot. So I am in familiar territory.
This suburban found me all on it's own, and it was exactly what I wanted. I tend to trust things like that. Chasing down the ultimate deal on one was not something I was interested in spending a lot of energy on. To a certain degree, I paid for convenience and I am totally cool with that.
Thank you all for your thoughts and advice. Hopefully when I have to/want to tweak on my new truck you guys will be just as generous as you have been on this thread.
