Too much lift on new lift??

I just installed a Tuff Country 2" HD lift kit on my '82. Very impressed with the ride even with the HD springs. My problem is that it lifted it too much! Especially the front. I guess I was not expecting so much lift. Does anyone have experience with the 2" HD springs. Is there an initial break in period that may sag the springs too the designed hieght? I should also add that I replaced all the bushings on the leaves and sway bar with new polyurethane bushings which also may have affected the height on a 25 year old vehicle.

Also, did I have to modify my my driveshaft any? It appears that the slip yoke is just about out of the tailshaft on the 208 tailshaft after the lift was installed.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

You just went from a vehicle that was lower than stock height because of its age to one that is 2" higher. I had the same surprise. The springs will settle a little and you will get used to it.

Yep, its likely your old springs were worn out and sitting below stock height.
