Hello all! I've been lurking for a little while and now this is my first post. I just bought an 83 Blazer a couple of weeks ago and there is too much play in the steering. Is this easily fixed? If so, how?

*if you can't tell I'm pretty new at working on vehicles*

. play in the steering can be related to numerous things. first off you must make sure that your steering linkage items are not to blame, then we can go from there. i.e. ball joints, drag link, etc......

when all else fails..............HIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
