I pulled the Dana 60 out from under the plow truck to go under my Truck Blazer. The Dana 44 I put back under the utility truck I thought had a spider gear messed up, but when I went to change out the front end for another one, everything seemed fine. So I took it to the local ORV park to "test" it.

Several other friends went out, too.

I went ahead and tackled several puddles and hills with the 235/75R16 Studded snow tires on the Utility truck . It did ok. Had a little fire when climbing one steep and bumpy hill and had the battery fly down and arc against the frame. Threw a little snow on it and it went out.

It was my bros first time wheelin period i thought my bro would kill me for taking him wheelin his first time in the snow, but he loved it too. All in all it was a great day.

Sorry I didnt get any pics of the Luv up close. Usually I have a passenger with me that I make "volunteer" to take pictures, but I didnt have anyone riding with me. I also missed a picture of Dave's son Jon driving the blue Suburban nearly sideways in a huge uphill rut. That was before you and Corey got there.

The "puddles" were getting pretty big in some spots. Two or three of them could better be classified as "ponds" right now.

I think this will be my first and last time taking the utility truck out. It's supposed to be one of the two vehicles in "the fleet" that doesnt go off road. At least I know that 4 wheel drive works, and now I can make the 85 mile drive in the morning to get the plow. There's supposed to be 8 inches of new snow up in Ione now.

Gotta remember to tighten my steering box bolts though. Went out after dark and I could move the box by hand away from the frame a quarter of an inch. Glad I picked up some locktite.

Ahhh...It was a fun day though. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

How many? Depends on how you count them. The ones that run; the ones that I want to keep (the fleet), the parts ones, or the total of everything currently.

Any way you look at it, it's best summed up as "too many".
