So i have been thinking about building my side panels out a few inches get rid of the arm rests on rear seat and build a arm rest on the side panels, and inside the panels have tool boxes built in that open by a flap in the side panel??

what are your guy's opinions on this

Ive been contemplating this actually, there is all that glorious space wasted by those panels.

right? thats what i was thinking when i ripped my interior out, also the arm rest stick out quite a bit too..

and as far as the over the wheel well tool boxes go i had no idea they made em, also i will have to do more research cause i was thinking of making a fold down flap and have it roll out for easier access... and have multiple compartments/boxes for different styles of tools.. :waytogo: and also im not a computer guru how can i post pics that are in my computer library

If you go to photobucket.com and make an account and upload your pics to it, you can then copy the IMG code and past it here.

Otherwise when you post go down to manage attachments and click that and browse your computer. But not being a paid member Idk how many pics you are able to post. Either way will work though :waytogo:

i plan on becoming a "paying" member on the 15th when i get paid lol and i will try that

You can always let her get involved in the site, by letting her post pictures in a "members only" area affectionately referred to as the Pig Pen.

it has fixed panels in about a foot from each end than it has 2 doors that swing open in the middle....

and the shelves now have low walls at the front of them when you open the doors......

I like the side idea and would like to see it done.... I'm running the same sheet fiberglass for side panels... I'm gonna make sub boxes in the cage openings, so I can utilize some of the space at least...

I think its a great idea to build something back there.

I helped a guy build some custom side panels where we used the empty space to build a custom box for a couple of 10s and recessed the amps back in with them. That was way cool.

that's my plan for the back triangle area in the cage.. amp goes up in the cab... same construction, just a bit thicker material.. come out about 4", than recess em to the inner metal...

that's one thing I have no doubt of, the composite would make sick sick speakers, stupid dense....

I did this

Was planning on building a box to sit on the other side... never got around to it.

It seems like a big waste to have those bedsides on there.
