tooth count

Dose anyone know off hand what the tooth count on the speedo gear of a 83 m1009 with a th400, np208 and 3.08's?

Not sure, the best way would be to pop the sleeve out of the 208 and check the colors or count teeth.

I would but the PO took the gear/sleeve with him, without me knowing of course .

OK, well, look to see what color the drive gear is. You can use the applet here to see what the teeth the driven gear should be. Need tire size too, and the revs/mile is 1000.
