so what do you all like?

TB spacer, Headers, Pullies, elec fan conversion, Roller Rockers?

looking for some inexpensive upgrades, no NOS or blowers...yet:D

my blaze has 3;08 gears so im looking for more Tq and HP for now, the axles will be getting replaced at a later date.

Look at it this way, the engine is a big air pump. So, you want to get air in and out as efficiently as possibly. TB spacer, free flowing air cleaner (cold air system is best), headers and efficient mandrel bent exhaust through free flowing mufflers. This is a great place to start.

thnaks of the reply, however im aware of the physics behind the internal combustion engine.

i guess what i meant to say is what ones have you guys done and seen a noteable increase in power, looking for TQ mostly.

im gonna do Lt headers, but what about the others?

any tricks i didnt list?

personally on my 89 tbi 355 ive done the tbi spacer and did notice a increase in throttle response. also a quick question what plugs are you running? acdelco are the key. Maybe a k&n if you dont already have one.

The TB spacer made a big difference for me, as did the headers. I also run an open air filter. I don't think my dual exhaust really made a difference, and will go to a single system in the future.
I was thinking of adding an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, part#EDL-3704 at Summitracing for $229.95.

Only thing I found to make a big difference was headers. TB spacer, I never noticed a bit of an increase with that. Maybe I was expecting too much? I don't know. Headers, roller rockers, and maybe an intake are the routes I would go.

ive already got a fresh tune with AC delco stuff.

MSD Coil

K&N with stock housing and tube

3" cat back with quiet muffler and turndown (no cat)

so headers huh, well poop, i was gonna save that for later.

im gonna get me a TB spacer then, what brand is the best, any issues with fuel lines etc??

on the Edlebrock stuff, i would sure hope that a HCI swap with exhaust would net those kind of gains, hell it should have made more.

:doah:

when its all said and done, ill slip in a EDB manifold, Vortech heads and a mild cam, or a complete 6.0 out of a junkyard...heheh

hp increase

Get an elecric fan. I noticed a huge increase over the stock one. they say you get 20 HP out of one and I believe it. Their is even a write up in the tech section about how an astro van fan will fit, look into it.
