Hey, sorry to hijack but do any of yall have issues with the top leaking after taking it off?

It doesn't leak after I take it off because it hangs from a pulley system inside my garage where no water can get to it!

But seriously though, I've had my full-top on and off about three times since I bought it and mine doesn't leak at all and yes I have driven it in the rain. But my truck is by no means the norm, it's in pristine shape with all weatherstripping intact.

Mine has always leaked. It, being a TX truck, the weatherstripping was garbage and me taking it off had no effect. I now have an STC top and it leaks just as bad. I Herced the rear so it doesnt matter now.

Nope. Not if you bolt the front where it bolts to the cab down first. Check your gasket and make sure it doesn't have any kinks or tears in it and lubricate it so it stays soft. Don't put Amour All on it though. Something that's gasket friendly!

mine doesnt leak, its in ok shape. when i took it off the first time i wiped it down liberally wth wd40 and then again. i do it to all my rubber seals and stuff, it will take the wind noise out of your doors and vent windows if theyre not busted of course.

hey sandracer, that 87 is very nice. the 88 isn't bad either. looks a lot like my 82, but cleaner. i can't remember the last time i saw mine without mud
