Top rack with lights ideas for 89 jimmy

Im thinking about putting some kind of rack on my 89 jimmy and I was thinking about having something that I could mount lights on that is permanent in the front where the top is permanent and that's where I would mount the lights then for the part that goes on the part of the top that is removable I want to make something that I can take off and remount on the roll cage when I don't want the top on. Does anyone have any ideas on how I would do that? I was thinking about making some bars on the top that are exactly the same as the roll cage that I can use to mount the rack on using some latch that would be easy to do and undo

No light rack for me I keep mine in front of the grill. I spidered a windsheild on a low branch.

That is a great idea but how would i get it to attach to the roll cage?

The idea is that you dont have to attach it to roll bar, it stays on the roof. My design allows me to remove the light bar and I can add other things, with everything removed I just have the tracks up there.
