A buddy of mine invited me out to Top Truck today at Hollister Hills. Called in sick because, hey it is Top Truck and I got to seem some stuff first hand.

This guy was definitely holding it down for the fullsize GM crowd. Though he was one of the only 2-3 vehicles still on leafs. I talked with him later that day and apparently he did pretty well on the tow test, guess his 502 big block works.

I dont know how to imbed video so peep the YouTube link.

cool 1st gen...bad break going through that hole. Glad he got out ok.

yeah he did. The guys were pretty cool guys from Canada. Funny though, they were the only guys running a tire different from anyone else, they had 44" Boggers. In comparison to the 54" Mickey Thompsons everyone else had they looked more like 35's.

I told him it was a shame because TTC 4-5 years ago, everyone thought 44's were the big dogs. He said MT supplied all the competitors with the 54" tires but they wouldn't ship out of the US and he didnt feel like driving 10 hours to the US border where he could pick them up.

youtube link copy

then click the youtube link button near the smiley box.

go to the new youtube link spot and insert the link you have a copy of in the middle of the 2 youtube boxes.

remove the + sign and all the stuff to the left from the link to youtube.

hit submit.

nice tight tech spot made there. but if you ask me no thinking of what will happen when you try and do a 180* turn in that super sink hole. i would be pissed off at them if that was my rig. that looks like a major accident just waiting to happen. i know thay need to be hard but that looks a little over the edge.

really id be pretty mad if that was me, didnt look like he hit it too hard or caught the side at all, just looks like it was a bottomless pit built for rollin rigs. not only did he prolly screw his junk up prolly if he wasent fast enough with his harness he could have drown.

Nice vid, awesome that you were able to go! Too bad about the Suburban though, although as far as the body was concerned, I bet there wasn't too much damage at all. Looked like a gentle flop. Did the engine make it alive?

On another note, I would love to be at Hollister when that event is going on! You are quite lucky, K5Nate!

They pulled the plugs out and drained the cylinders, fired right up. Even funnier he was rollin' the factory bench with lap belts.:thumb:

That's the risk you take when you enter ttc ,or any time you go hit the extreme stuff . If there wasn't a fear factor of danger like this whare would all that gut turning rush of adrenelin that wear addicted come from ?

Here are a few other shots of the suburban, the few full size GM rigs I saw and some other rigs, mainly of which were from previous TTC's and alternates.
