I finally got to take my top off!
A little redneck engineering for top storage too! When I bought the house, this swingset was cemented into the ground, finallly got some good use for it. Made some cross braces, backed up to it, slid the top right on to it. The top is actually scrubbing the crossbeam of the swingset. I figured a couple posts under the center couldn't hurt.
Remember Chef Tell? Very simple, very easy
It's now a one man project to remove and install the topper. I use a firring strip to slide the top over the locating pins, and to save as much paint as I can.
Now for the pics
