torque converter???

im about to put a new th400 in my 87 crew 4x4 6.2l. i need a new torque converter but dont know what stall to get. found one at summit for a good price but the lowest stall is 1700. will this work? if not where is the best place to get a good priced one?

I believe the factory diesel converter is 1400-1600 rpm. I was just reading about this on here the other day, if you search you should find the thread.
