Jun 14, 2009 #2 Here is a list of U-bolt torque specs... 5/16".....15-18 ft/lbs 3/8".......28-32 ft/lbs 7/16"......30-35 ft/lbs 1/2"........65-80 ft/lbs 9/16"......75-90 ft/lbs 5/8"........85-110 ft/lbs The cross pin IIRC is a 5/16" thread and i would torque it to 20 ft/lbs
