Hey Stephen, what is the torque spec on the center eye bolt for your HP engine mounts? If no specs then do I just tighten it super tight or what?
Thanks for your time
Burt

We never get out the torque wrench for those. Just tighten them up and go. They are fairly good sized bolts and you should have nylock nuts with them. You should be able to feel that they are tight enough.
No 5' cheaters needed.

ThankYOU, I was thinking that was my answer but just wanted to make sure...I am almost ready to fire up my 454 for the first time:D :xmas:

Thanks Again
Burt

They're a 9/16 grade 5 so 80 ft-lb or so will work just fine. This is pretty darn tight with hand tools in that space.
