Tossed a NAPA Premium XL Alt Belt... 6.2

Sweet truck there. I don't know how you guys can deal with rust. I have forgotten most of what I knew about dealing with it and am quite content with that. Well, I guess not entirely forgotten, as when I was in WI this summer my cousin put me to work removing all the broken off, rusted-in-place bolt remnants in his John Deere 730 Diesel project. (Me): Uh, I'm on vacation pal. (Him): Here's what I got--get to work. I guess it just enhanced my disdain for it.
Anyways, keep in mind the Delco belts are not GM belts. They are a belt manufactured by someone (don't know who) to their own specs........

One can never know when it's a "real" belt.
I went to a GM plant near here many years ago, and they were assembling Camaros. No manufacturing, just assembly. Some factories actually manufacture, some just assemble.
Like the belt, who know if it's a GM plant, or to GM specs? Who checks quality control, blah, blah....
Can one even buy GM parts? Maybe only from the factory, period!
