Tough decisions

So i've come to a point where i think i should sell my K5, although i will always be on the lookout for another when the time comes because there will never be anything to replace the K5 for me.

So that brings me to a search for my next 4x4. I'm really in need of a pickup, i always have to borrow a trailor or borrow a friends truck. Would really love to find a m1008 or K20-30.

So thats the plan, find a buyer for the K5, wait for my oension money to get here wich is taking much longer then they said and then find me a new pickup.

Any advice or maybe something i am missing that might make me reconsider ?

Cant you just take some of the money to buy a trailer instead of selling the K5? You can buy a nice trailer for a lot cheaper than a nice PU and still keep the K5.
I have a 3500 lb GVW trailer that I use behind my K5. It will haul anything a pickup will.

dont have anywhere to park a trailer, barely have enough room to park the blazer and the wifes cherokee

Unless you live in a big city, surely you know someone that will let you park a 10'-12' trailer don't you. Friend with acreage, former employer, relatives, etc. Really that hard to find a place?

Frankly, aside from not driving it in the winter, my pickup is so versatile that I can't see a reason to have a K5 for what I do. Then there's the whole "it's low mileage, good shape, diesel, 1 ton, locked, low geared, etc" thing too.
