Tow Bar?

Saw a tow bar at atwoods, wondering how well they worked. Need to tow my rig down to dallas, doesn't fit on my car hauling trailer. And ideas? What keeps the front wheels of the blazer from going wild?

I know alot of people on here have used the flat towing bars and have mixed opinions. Some love them others not so much but they seem to work alot of people have towed long distances with them as well. Not sure quite how they work but the truck "in tow" follows the truck towing the wheels turn when you turn and go strait when you go strait.
