tow hitch with shackle flip?

hey all. I got a 4 inch shackle flip on my 1 toncrewcab. The tow hitch I had on there before doesnt fit with the shackle flip on there. Can I modify my old one to fit? thanks for any info
 
How does the shackle flip affect the tow hitch? its in the same place as the stock bracket...
