Will the 73 and later tow hooks work on my 70 Blazer? I would like to add a set, but not too excited about the prices of the originals:eek1: I'm not sure I would ever be willing to spend several hundred dollars for a set of tow hooks.

1st Gen tow hooks are crazy expensive...... And nowhere near as useful as a hidden front winch.

They will work, but you'll have to mock 'em up, mark the holes and drill. I have some on my '71 Jimmy from a '91 'burb and they work fine and the price was right. Have fun.

I have 2 different pairs of them out of the three. :D

Now I have all three different pairs of them.

Fortunately, someone now makes a forged replica of the "Extreme Bend" 1972 versions..... you no longer have to spend between $1000 - $1200/set for originals

The replicas sell for the low, low price of only $600/set

Yep saw those but they're also advertised as cosmetic use only as they're not as strong as factory originals. Still a little spendy for repro hooks when originals can be bought for same cost if you're lucky to find some.
