it was an ex airforce rig with a 4.3 with 5 speed. The motor has since loss oil pressure and has been yanked out. I want to drop a 350 into it and keep it TBI. Will the truck like pulling 5K (combo of trailer and buggy)?

nevermind my brother bought the truck out from under me so I'm buying a 1973 c20 454-th400 instead rebuilt motor...not bad for $1000 just wish it wasn't mustand yellow and wood grained.LOL
The c20 will do much better. Really doubt your trailer/buggy only weighs 5000lbs

should be pretty dang close to 5K, the trailer weighs just under 2k and the buggy should be around 3k ( basicly a tubed out toyota with a small block)
