Just wondering if anyone tows there burb to the trails.
If so what is your tow rig and trailor.

Better be heavy! I'm guessing 1 ton with gooseneck.....diesel prefered.....but a 3/4 with bumper pull might work too.

Tow my Sub with my Sub. The trail rig is an 86 with 35's and the tow rig is an 89 3/4 ton with 33's. If I continue to use the 89 as a tow rig... I am seriously considering converting to dually and adding airbags and such things to make it a better tow rig.

I towed my burban with a chevy single cab 3/4ton 2wd, and with a crewcab 1ton 4wd SRW.
Obviously the longer crew cab towed nicer but the 3/4 ton did fine, I don't have the crewcab anymore so all my towing now is with the 3/4 ton reg cab.
:D

Mine will be towed once I can get a trailer. The second truck in my sig is the tow vehicle(wife's truck actually) until it is paid off and I get a 1-ton with a diesel(hers is an extended cad standard bed with a 6.0 with an NV4500.)

So a 2500hd with 6.0 should work for just several times a year :D. I just need to buy one first :doah:. I am going to put the burb on a diet soon anyways :wink1:

i have a 2001 2500HD with the 6.0L and a hole in the bed for the goose neck that I am considering selling. it comes with some extras installed too. let me knof if youre interested.

We're talking about towing THE suburban, not WITH the suburban :D
