150K is no big deal he gets to write 100K off of his taxes due to this law

Hmm $100,000 write-off -- assuming he is in the highest tax bracket, that saves him $33,000 so the truck only costs him ~$117,000 plus he still has to pay tax on that $100,000 write-off when he sells the truck or ceases to use it in his business. A good deal but it still has its drawbacks.
