I had to use a couple of tow straps last month to help someone out. I slipped one end of the strap through the loop at the opposite end to link a couple straps together to get the link.

It all worked well, but i can't get the straps apart now! Does anybody have some suggestions on how to get them apart. I tried to wedge a screwdriver in to pry them apart, but they are incredibly tight.

Thanks for the Help!

Ryan

uh Yah. you are not supposed to do it that way.

Next time place something in between them like a sweat shirt or something. Try soaking it in water. As it gets wet is will expand slightly and then as it dries it might loosen up.

I use a stick in between.

you might be stuck, but its better then using a clevis. Next time us a stick, or a towel or something that will not hurt if if comes flying towards you.
