tow straps/wratchet straps - cleaning garage

was cleaning the garage...
and I found a pile of stuff in the corner...
will get pics later..
but most of you know what they look like...
width makes them fit in a receiver (so I have been told... I havent got to test that but others have)
also the 40' straps vary... 35-40' figures government measurement...
anyhow..
they are 35-40' x 1.75" wide.. .4 ply... and hoops at each end sewn in.....
so it is actually like 2 straps.. one in another and sewn together...
they are also a bit bungie...not too much but that harsh tug will not hurt as much as a chain (not recommended) or stiffer ropes....

I guess the pics will show it when you post them, but are they all in good shape? Surplus military used or new? You said they are stretchy, would you call these snatch/recovery straps or tow straps? I'll call dibs on a 3' and 35-40'.

digicam is broke.... trying to borrow one...

they are new...never used... in great shape...
when I say stretchy... not like bungie cord....

they are really the straps that the military uses to hook cargo to parachutes....

I found a link once with a part number paper that was on one... that is where I got the 48k rating from....

I bought one of the 40's last time you had them for sale. I have done a few recovery's with it and its worked great! Talk about BEEFY :eek1:. PM me a price for a 9 footer and one of the bags.
