I have a pair... whats the distance between the mounting holes? I had gone through two different pair for my 76 till I got the right ones.. the ones I have remaining I believe are off of the 80's Blazers..

I'm not sure. I saw some at the junkyard from some 80's trucks and the mounting portion looked kind of weird and snakey. They may have had more than two mounting holes, but I'm not sure. It's really hidden up there in the frame.

I tried to get them at the junkyard, but they were totally, like, one with the truck due to rust. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Is it easy for you to get a picture of them? I could maybe look at it and try to visualize whether it could fit or not. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
 
the ones he needs are the hooks that face in tords each other..and the two mounting holes bend and mount with the bumper brackets..

There is a split between the years of tow hooks.

Up to '80 is the kind you are describing.

The '81 to '91 are different than the '80 and older types of hooks. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hey, not meaning to jerk you around here... it's my birthday and my father in-law gave me some of the hooks I need. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif My wife told him I was trying to wrench them off a K5 at the junkyard and he went there and just had the guy torch them off. $5 for each hook, plus $10 to torch them off... not bad.

So I guess I don't need them anymore.

You might think about putting them on E-bay. I saw a set on there some guy is trying to sell for $75. They were slightly bigger, but if you could get half that it'd be pretty sweet.
